He was appointed by the Minister of Labour as Chairperson of the Commission for Employment Equity in July 2005. Jimmy is a Chartered Marketer and a Director of numerous boards.He represents BMF on BUSA where he chairs the Standing Committee on Social Policy.

Over 20 years corporate experience in mainly blue chip and multinationals spanning across key sectors of the economy (Mining, Auto, Banking and IT).

Trained as a nurse, Nomhle’s ambition and passion for people development has seen her carrier path shift from occupational health to television presenting, human resources to policy development on HIV/Aids.  
She has worked for corporates like Old Mutual and Murray and Roberts as well as NGO”s like The Social Change Assistance Trust and  Medical Rescue International. Nomhle has sat on various boards in South Africa and Namibia, where she lived for 20 years before relocating to South Africa in 1998

Appointed MD of the BMF in November 2006, Mncane previously worked for Microsoft SA where he led the economic cluster within the public sector unit.

Prior to joining Microsoft, he was a Senior Manager at PWC, where he headed the IT Solutions - Centre of Excellence with in Public Sector Services. Mncane has worked in a number of industries including transport and travel services, industrial products, retail, state-owned enterprises and the government.

David has over 25 years General Management experience in the built environment, during which time he gained exposure from inception to completion on projects and attaining experience and qualifications in a variety of fields including the implementation, adjudication and monitoring of empowerment and procurement policies.

He has more than 10 years of association and involvement with the BMF.

 

 

 

Group Director: Business Development, Africon (Pty) Ltd

Prior to joining Africon, where he is responsible for among others, CSI and transformation; Fani worked for Sasol in various HR roles.He holds a BA (Hons) in Industrial Psyhology and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Leadershi with Unisa SBL. Fani is a member of the SA Institute of Management and a member of the Intstitute for Personnel Management. He is involved in various community development initiatives. Fani has been the awarded the 2006 Africon Mentor of the Year.

 

 

 

Group Manager: Stakeholder Relations & Transformation, SASOL Limited
Mazwe is responsible for formulating Sasol’s policies and strategies relating to stakeholder relations and corporate affairs.
Mazwe has sound work experience and knowledge on aspects ranging from business economics, change management, organizational development and HR. He holds numerous qualifications including an MBA from Preston University in the US, an Mcom in Strategy and Organisation Dynamics from the University of Natal and various Executive and Leadership Development Programmes.
He represents BMF in the BUSA Standing Committee on Social Policy and is the founder and chairperson of the Free Thinkers Society (FTS)

He spent a number of years with South African Breweries as an Executive in Corporate Affairs and has also served the Mangaung Community Development Trust.
He is a Non-Executive Director of Kwezi V3 and Lebone Holdings and a provincial council member of Technikon SA 

Director: M&R Consulting

Thami Mabija has worked in the Northern Cape Premier's office from 1997 to 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer of the Departments of Transport, Roads and Public Works as well as Safety and Liaison. Thami left the public sector in 2003 to form M&R Consulting.

Thami is a Director of Seven Falls and the Northern Cape Education Trust.

Director at the Mpumalanga Department of Culture, Sports and Recreation.

She previously worked as an educator and as a gender officer. Pontsho has co-authored various publications on education and gender issues.

She was in 2004 bestowed with the BMF Manager of the Year Award

 Glory joined PWC in 1996 as an article clerk specializing in public sector auditing.She has six years experience in various aspects of financial management and ten years experience as a director, team manager and team member for consulting, internal and external auditing assignments. Glory’s experience includes secondments to the University of Limpopo to act as Executive Director: Finance. She is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She serves in the PWC Government Board and in the board of the Limpopo First Lady Trust.
